JH: Bourbon and Sun Drop—is this a regional thing?

KW: I’m not sure it’s even a regional thing. Bourbon and Sun Drop is disgusting. It’s not a good mix, which I think speaks to the character’s desperation. It was my invention, a case of mixing two wonderful things together to create pure garbage.

I don’t drink alcohol anymore, but I still love Sun Drop; however, if I drink the regular, sugared-up Sun Drop, exactly one tooth falls out for every third can I drink. So my nightly treat is a can of caffeine-free, diet Sun Drop. It is as depressing as it sounds. I drink it and then go to bed.
